highlights popularity among buy to let mortgage holders

Landlords and letting agents have flocked to use the cash protection scheme set up by over the past few years, according to a representative from the firm.

Eddie Hooker, chief executive of the company, described the enterprise's popularity in the industry as "extraordinary". has just reached the milestone of taking its millionth deposit and celebrated by giving £1,000 to charity.

Mr Hooker pointed out that the organisation that handed over the deposit in question was Unite, which is one of the group's biggest customers.

"This is another significant achievement by the company and was fittingly purchased by one of the first organisations to join the scheme," he added.

The chief noted that it has taken the company just over three and a half years to get to this latest landmark.

Last week, the firm noted there is still time for landlords to use its service without being subject to the upcoming VAT rise.
