Mortgage holders who want to move house but stay with Santander could benefit from a new product, with a representative at the organisation highlighting how such loyalty might save them money.

Adrian Whittaker, key accounts director at Abbey for Intermediaries, a subsidiary of Santander, made his comments regarding the Loyal Mover range of mortgage deals.

The no-fee two-year agreements are available up to 75 per cent loan to value (LTV), with interest rate standing at 2.99 per cent for the tracker mortgage and 4.24 per cent for the fixed-rate product.

Mr Whittaker pointed out that it shows people that they do not have to change their mortgage provider when they move house.

He remarked: "We are one of the only lenders to offer this range of products. We are keen to remind customers that loyalty can have its benefits when moving home."

This month, Adrian Whittaker noted that a 70 per cent LTV tracker mortgage at 2.45 per cent is available for key account clients.
